Is it realistically possible to buy myself one of these and take my own X-Ray images? I wanna monitor my bones and joints as I do a lot of sports, especially weightlifting. Would this thing be suitable to take for instance an X-ray shot of my elbow?

But if you insist, you can probably get it even cheaper on Alibaba from a supplier with an minimum order quantity of 1.

For the record that is probably only the x-ray source, you also need some kind of detector to do imaging. It's like a flash lamp for a camera, you still need the camera. In the past the detector was film, now they use digital detectors. I really wouldn't fuck with this.

This is retarded. If you live in a normal country you can talk to an orthopedic and convince him to give you annual or biannual joint xrays. You'll have to pay for them but it'll be less than 200-300 euros over all, you'll get usable shots and no cancer.

OP here. After doing some investigations I realized that. I thought it would only cost me 400€ but it will really cost me at the very least 1000€ for thex-ray cannon + x-ray sensor plate.

You don't have to do that. There are a couple services now that actually set up camera rooms where they use spatial geometry to determine what your joints are doing.
The main one I'm aware of is Kinotek, but I'm not sure how expensive they are. They're working with sports leagues mainly but idk, shoot them an email and ask if they know of services for amateurs?
