>>14110401Honestly, you can still be a scientist, in face, conventional study techniques will probably work better for you. Look up "study smart" on youtube, should be a lecture, follow the instructions. Get 8 hours of sleep, drink coffee 1-2 hours after waking up if you don't mind drug dependence, exercise (cardio, not building useless muscles for no practical reason) for at least 30 minutes at least 2 hours before bed. And most importantly:
START STUDYING NOW
I'm serious, if you aren't sure what branch of science you want to go into then take a week to research them in depth but once you know,
START STUDYING IMMEDIATELY
I cannot stress this enough, if you want to have chance of competing with the geniuses that have everything naturally then this is imperative. You need a backlog of built-in knowledge that you have down cold, to compete with the fucking v8 in their brain that tears through data. Start to hate them, use it as motivation, hate indolence, hate reliance on luck, hate success from talent, prove to yourself everyday that you have need of none of them. You will win. I'm serious, no amount of natural aptitude can compete with consistent and efficient study. Their tearing through at breakneck speed with a generalized tool, you are using a set of finely polished and sharpened specialized tool, their adaptability makes them less able to specialize, with time and dedication, you can rise above the heights that they would max out at. I believe in you anon, good luck.
