i am experiencing a strange cognitive phenomenon, i feel like I am disconnected from the body as if i am watching through the center of the brain. i have not taken drugs for years and have never taken LSD. am i at the beginning of a psychotic episode?

Had that experience for a limited time on drugs. Was very interesting.
If you want a solution to it, go spend time grounding yourself. But personally I would explore it more.

Hippies call it grounding but the scientific term is "earhting". It's basically just being in contact with the earth, sitting on the actual ground or walking barefoot. It'll help mentally reconnect you to your body when your feeling disconnected. Weighted blankets and soaking your feet in water can help too.

is this shit can even happen without drugs effect, i mean i try some form of DMT years ago but thats it. never touch anything since beside weed and i dont even smoke this anymore.
i have heard that someone who has had LDS in the past experiences similar symptoms after a year or so, but this is not my case

Did you do edibles? or just smoke? I know there are some risk factors for edibles and psychosis.
How long ago was DMT too? I had 9 month long psychosis when I had stopped using drugs at all for about a year after a really intense ayahausca(dmt) dose. I think in some cases the psychosis can come much later after the drug use, but in my case I didn't become disconnected from my body like you did, it was more I became connected to everything and time became non-linear.

I've spent a lot of time studying psych and to be honest the field is shit and really lacking in a lot of research on the long term effects of drugs, so it could be the long lasting effects of the weed (especially if you were doing high thc/low cbd) or it just could be a genetic predisposition. I forgot to mention, but what about coffee, do you drink it? It can cause psychosis as well, even in relatively small doses.

I don't know if it's a psychotic episode or what, but I've felt this way intermittently since I was 10.
Everything just seems like plastic or play-doh or whatever, and I feel like a ventriloquist leading my body along like a marionette.

Not really any direct source, like I said psych is a shit field so pretty much all the info we have on caffeine induced psychosis is from case studies which you can easily find on google scholar.
