I was in a university restroom today and heard a TA graduate student in the shitter mumbling to himself "I'm never gonna graduate," over and over. Grad students constantly look like shit, and I'm not sure if that's a function of partying like a moron or being worked to death by PIs.

Is it this bad everywhere? Is it this bad for all graduate programs?
