>>14070663The problem with flat earth is a problem with religion, and no i don't mean the "religion itself is a problem" point of view but rather the lack of purpose and otherwise faith that many people have on the modern world
most flat earthers believe in flat earth not necesarily by the supposed abundance of evidence regarding the concept but rather out of principle, they already had the idea in their heads even before being introduced to flat earth, all they need to fall in the rabbit hole is for someone to give them validation (and faith) that what the believe in is the right path/way, and that everyone else is a sheeple
Naturally, someone from an outside point of view can realize that they aren't so different from the mindless people that they themselves consider separate from, as all they need is for someone to give validation to their minds and from there the ball just gets rolling, in the worst cases it can get to outright delusion and messiah complex ("i'll show them with evidence the right way" "we must fight the NWO"), in most however it is rather tame and mild, not voicing their opinion but merely content with knowing the truth
at the end of the day it really doesn't matter, most flat earthers are ironic and trolls, the really stupid ones cope and glowniggers rejoice since shills just keep discrediting other more true ((conspiracy)) theories by spreading this one.. and they do it for free
also most flat earth image come from one of two websites, the more moronic ones come from Brazil as expected from huehuemonkeys
