without going into my own metaphysical beliefs, this is an easy question. it isn’t possible to “cryogenically freeze” the human body without severely mutilating it, so you aren’t gonna be revived. I can see maybe reviving a cryogenically frozen body to a comatose state, but there’s no way that substantial damage to brain tissue is avoided

The point of the procedure is in hopes future tech will advance so far as to overcome any issues like this. Maybe they could reverse engineer damage etc.
