I'm confused as to how useful infection rate statistics are if some amount of people don't get tested, especially infected people.
If there were many people out there who had covid but we're asymptomatic and never got tested, wouldn't that mean that many more cases of covid actually happened? Or is this accounted for somehow in the statistics?
I am not being political, this is an honest question.
