Morality is judged by those who are capable realizing that actions made by them are affecting them i.e. humans. Humans will decide what is moral and what isn't because they are the ones affected by the decisions and can change those decisions. Being a utilitarian can have self-seeking benefits as contributing to the well being of a society produces favorable conditions for when people, like you, are born into that society. Without utilitarians of the past, you would not be able to selfishly serve your own interests as comfortably and efficiently as you do now.
