I was wondering about the practical use of batteries as ammunition for futuristic weapons, such as a revolver that takes AA's instead of .357.
Hypothetically, if you could load a battery into a weapon and have the full charge of the battery expelled as a laser/energy burst, would that realistically be enough to kill someone via electrocution or damaging their organs?
Another way to put this question: how much charge would a battery need to kill someone?
