I remember years ago reading about how Apple had at some point released computers with a PSU that used a standard (20 or 24-pin) ATX power connector with a NON-STANDARD pinout which lead to customers who replaced their PSU frying their computers.
I'm just trying to find anything on the internet talking about that fiasco. Can anyone give me links or keywords I can search for?
