Has anyone actually ever refuted the concept of intelligent design? All I can find are strawmen from the ID movement 10-20 years ago.

its not, and this has been shown time and time again, intelligent design does not get you anywhere near a God, only to an underlying intelligence. The Greeks used to believe teleology and intelligence was an inherent part of reality like energy and matter, why cant we? Its embarrassingly obvious you want to preserve your philosophical pre-suppositions that you cant scientifically test.

then Archaeology, sociology, psychology, computer science, cryptology, forensics, cybersecurity are also not science. They already use these methods and have been for several years now.

I give it 20-30 years until the field of biology starts using ID methods for research.
