If parents are too genetically close, it'll likely cause inbreeding depression in offspring, too distant - outbreeding depression. But those phenomenon have a very different nature. Inbreeding depression is caused by fucked up recessive genes from both parents, whereas outbreeding depression is caused by pairings of non-complementary traits. But is it possible to have both at the same time? Lets say, siblings of mixed race origin suffering from outbreeding depression will mate, would their offspring inherit both their non-complementary traits and fucked up recessive genes? If not, why?
