Most of them yes. They dont even have research goals, they just want to publish and be cited. Check how many professors have hundreds of papers yet never discovered anything.

yes. I was in a pretty prestigious phd program and decided to drop out because I saw that the whole basedeNcE community is a meme. Youre only there to be a slave until you kill yourself or drop out of the academiic basedenCe system (the earlier the better). Only 1% of people ever get a senior position (meaning one with responsibility, self-sufficiency, okay pay, own office)
