It's pretty confusing when you use a generic folk schema like "black" when what you really mean is (almost exclusively) American chattel slavery and it's aftermath. Incidentally, if anyone is actually interested in proto-postcolonial theory, a good text to familiarize yourself with is Frantz Fanon's The Wretched of the Earth (1961). It's quite...enlightening.

who fucking cares what the plebs learn. 99% of it will never think of it beyond some multiple choice quiz or their wagie work skills. All subjects, whether biology or history, should not be wasted on these people. teaching a little history in particular is more damaging than teaching no history. At least then they won't have delusions of knowledge

I mostly agree but we need to continue teaching specks of higher education to the masses to create more people like us.
If one kid in the class finds the lesson on cells interesting and goes on to be enthusiastic about the pursuit of knowledge then it worked.
