Do people who have received the Covid19 vax shed something to those around them? If so, do they stop shedding after a certain amount of time?

I haven't been in close proximity to anyone who is vaxxed, but my family got vaxxed recently so now I have the difficult choice of deciding if and when I ever want to be near them again.
