>>13367664I had an IQ test performed on me when I was 9 years old, because the psychopedagogists of my school thought I might be a retard.
I didn't know it was an iq test, nobody told me the truth because they didn't want to depress me (nobody wanted to tell me the psychopedagogists of my school thought I was a retard and wanted to kick me out of school)
For me the psychiatrist was a psychologist who had a different strategy of making me play games instead of talking on a sofa. (I didn't know she was a psychiatrist).
The result was 133, and my school was told I was intelligent enough for any primary school level thing, so the problem was them, not me.
Eventually I got pretty good at school stuff around the age of 11.
I don't know how meaningful it was, I think iq as a child and as an adult can be quite different. It also never gave me high self esteem, because there is still a lot of people smarter than me.
