This has been widely discredited and is not scientific in any objective form. So why are so many people and organizations still using the study like it has any scientific merit? Would you describe the professor and those that use his work as fraudulent?

Are you brain dead or did you not know about the major flaws of the Standford experiment? I say this b/c a lot of phyc students and ideologue refuse to believe that this experiment was more of a play or demonstrations with the professor telling the guards to act cruel and harshly; it fits to well with their world view. Despite that to this day the results of this experiment have never been replicated.
