What was the science education in (you)r school years. anon?
In my country(ex-Soviet) we had chemistry, biology and physics classes in years 7 to 11
Chemistry started out with the atomic theory, into general and inorganic chemistry and finished with basic introduction to organic chemistry
Biology was mostly botany and zoology, with little attention to microbiology, and in the final years human-specific anatomy and physiology and some basic-ass genetics/cell biology
Physics started out with mechanics, then electricity, and nuclear physics in the end(no mention of quantum shit whatsoever, but that was back in 2012, so perhaps the curriculum there has been updated a bit)
What's the science education for kids like in your country?
I'm also always baffled when american anons talk about 'the science class' that doesn't even differentiate into chem/bio/phys and lasts like 2 years - what the fuck are you even doing at school? Clearly it's not history, maths or foreign languages either
