where is order derived but from a central locus? God is that locus. without God you cannot claim that there is any meaningful order or lasting purpose in this place we call the universe. every action and belief becomes relative and loses any value. also when I speak of God it is not the humanoid version that you are accustomed to thinking about. what I refer to is an infinite being that is incomprehensible to human thought.
