You do realize that primates aren't the only order of social animals on Earth, right? Social animals often have some form of structure or rules in how individuals, families, packs, etc interact with one another, as well as punishments for breaking those rules. That's literally them defining right from wrong, just as humans do when we make rules or laws forbidding murder, theft, dishonesty, etc

However, I think you could argue Koko the gorilla demonstrated at least enough cognitive awareness and capability to say she might have been capable of human-style philosophy as we know it, and gorillas are not homo sapiens.
