you can't without doing research and learning what all that shit means. one of the few things I've learned is that advanced math is a bunch of autistic bullshit; it looks like number magic but really it's just a metric shit ton of memorization. half the time all that autistic chicken scratch is only like 3-4 numbers that they represent with equations, because they're not real numbers.

Non trivial comptuter programs, although not as sophisticated, are much more complicated.

I believe that a programming language that lets you use math symbols would actually be easier to read and reason about than traditional programming languages.

Julia still uses the ascii/utf8 character set. There must be a way of creating a graphical language that lets us write fractions horizontally and use big operators, and linear algebra, etc, without the necessity of contriving everything into a string of characters.

And in order to get A we need to understand that A is unbalanced in its current state

I don't get it but they are adding up all the $\tilde\sigma_t[a]_{\rm{h}}$ (some function of $a$ I guess) for all the $a$ s in the set $A$ .
I really can't tell you what it all means beyond that I'm affraid but yeah $\sum_{a\in A}f(a)$ just means the sum of all f(a)s for every a in the set A. I'm happy to have someone more knowledgeable about this specific equation, correct or explain this to me but yeah, I hope this helps :^)

idk my advisor puts unicode math shit in the haskell code we are doing. Seems like a good enough compromise to just use compilers that can handle unicode.
