The electric universe is pure pseudoscience, it doesn't belong here. It literally takes more from Velikovskyian mythology than it does from plasma physics. It's proponents don't publish papers, or even attempt formal research at all. There is no quantitative framework at all, with some members of the cult even rejecting mathematical science altogether.
There is no EU cosmology, only a lose collection of ideas. Proponents don't agree on even the most basic details like what is redshift. And so there is absolutely nothing to compare to the data. They never actually look at observational data themselves, they are completely disinterested in how the universe actually works. It doesn't stop them from firing out thousands of hours of youtube videos of untested claims and never publishing anything formally.
Any model that was going to replace standard cosmology has to fit at least as many cosmological datasets. Take this for example, the angular powerspectrum of the Cosmic Microwave Background. EUers don't even agree on what the CMB is, and they have absolutely no explanation for why the structure in the CMB happens to look just as standard cosmology predicted.
