interesting, for me the monty hall problem is more intuitive. All it really is is that you have a 2/3 chance that you picked the wrong door. Revealing the empty door doesn't change that, the chances are still the same

you pick a box at random, not a ball. if you picked the first box then you'd pick a gold ball next. if you picked the second box then you wouldn't.
