>>13339608If you didn't go into finance straight out of school it's really hard to get a good job unless you know people. So you can network and find somebody who works in whatever field you're interested in (eg investment banking, private equity, venture capital, etc.) or you can go back to school and get an mba from a high ranked school and you will have an easy as fuck time getting a job. Me personally, I went straight into consulting at a big 3 with a degree in math and economics. Finance isn't for me, I find consulting to be SOVLful while finance is soulless imo and you get to travel a lot. If you're interested in consulting and you had good grades in college, consider applying to a big 3 firm (Mckinsey, BCG, and Bain) in august and google "consulting case interviews". They'll basically give you a scenario during your interview where a company comes to with help for a specific situation and you need to come up with a solution for it. Practice as many of these as possible.
