While Covid Cases are relatively low, similar to last summer in my country(austria) I am worried about the Actual number of infected. Why?
Because: If you got only 1 dose of whatever vaccine you are still prett yunprotected and its beeing said that you need the 2nd shot of moderna,pfizer whatever to have a stronger protection from Delta.
So while keeping that in mind, they also said you can still contract and spread the delta variant.
Add on top of that that you can enter restaurants etc untested if you got your first shot, you can see that there are probably alot of people who don't get themselfes tested anymore because they got at least 1 jab. Thus the numbers of actual detected cases are going "officially" down, but in reality what you get are just people who dont get tested anymore, while still beeing able to contract&carry the delta variant.

I don't understand how my govt is actually opening up Nightclubs, bars etc completely in 2 days. Is it maybe purely out of Economic interest? To have low infected numbers and to get some Tourists into the country for the sake of the economy?
