How do I stop making mistakes?
Today I had a very important math exam. I could have gotten 100/100 but I mistook a - for a +.
4 years ago I took part in the national math olympiad. There again I lost 3/7 points in a problem because I wasn't carefull and wrote plus instead of minus.
Why the fuck does this shit keep happening to me?

That happen to me as well.
I can´t really bother to think slowly to match my writing speed. So I just butcher my equations, and when I going to re-read them to use in the next step I usually mistakenly interpret what I wrote wrong.
Also, every fucking time I get some equation wrong is because of a fucking sign in the wrong place.

I guess we just need to pay attention more. I don´t really know what else we can do.

This is literally the most unsubstantial and unimportant thing I’ve heard in weeks. That you would even be bothered by this is baffling. You should feel bad, not because you accidentally wrote the wrong thing twice in your life, but because you are so petty as to actually be bothered by something this simple and inconsequential. I’m in the top 0.1% intelligence bracket and I think that math is for midwits who can’t into logic. Proper, real logic that requires you to be high math and high verbal. Math is for people in the 110-120 IQ range at best. We superior beings are more focused on more complex realms such as paradox solving. Academia is for sexless retard communists who love their damn lists and procedures. It kills creativity and nuance. Academia is where you go to firmly plant yourself in an echo chamber and lose all potential for greatness that you might have had. No one with a brain should ever become an academic, it’s just going to result in the loss of a huge amount of skills in favor of doing one thing over and over every year until you die. Ask a professor who teaches math 101 every year and has been doing so for 30 years whether they feel fulfilled. I sincerely doubt it.
