How do I become an AI specialist? I'm *very* good at math, and while I haven't done much programming, I seem to be able to pick it up quickly too.
Which books should I read, which companies should I aim to work for, tell me anything about the field.
Some questions I have about it, mostly related to which disciplines should I take:
>is low level language (including C, Fortran and such) knowledge required, or should I focus on high level and OOP?
>should I know linear and non linear programming?
>what math subjects are most "important" to it? I heard they are linear algebra and probability and statistics.
>databases and data mining knowledge is important too, right?
Thanks in advance.
