where should I start to learn coding?

hi /sci/, as of now I am completely illiterate on any programing languages and theories and so on. am I better off start from block coding like Scratch to build fundamentals or would it be a waste of time?

Scratch wouldn't necessarily a waste of time, but you're probably good just jumping in to writing code. Python is a excellent language, so I'd say grab a good book on Python and go for it. You could also look at C languages like C++ (or C itself), C#, and even web stuff like HTML, CSS, Javascript or PHP, just to give you a few other ideas. Don't be afraid of going straight to coding, you'll be fine.
