Time passes slower in all non-rest frames. There is no frame where time goes more quickly than the rest frame. This is probably the asymmetry you refer to.

Doesn't need to be a "real" one. Speed of causality is the same, regardless of frame of reference. Something something Lorentz Transformations. It visualize it as a kind of tilting of the time dimension.
