Neuroplasticity

Could you adjust for neuroplasticity by increasing the intensity of stimuli?

When youre a kid everything feels more intense.
Like, someone does something even vaguely worth noting and it becomes part of your identity forever, as you grow you lose this capacity, but you still can remember stuff if done correctly.

So say, if when youre a kid, you had a poster of the solar system for a few years and that makes you remember the planets, could you grab say, a 70 year old who doesnt know the name of the planets and just like, surround him with it constantly, have his life be nothing but posters of the solar system and have him learn at the same "pace" than a young kid?

could this be used as a technique for efficiently teaching people past their neuroplasticity peak?
