I can watch 90 year old vid about car transmission and its explained clearer than anything i I have seen before. Its mind blowing how good educational vids were back then.

If you compare the shit that was good from the past with the sheer volume of today of course it's gonna look diluted. The best stuff of today is amazing and takes advantage of advanced methods in visualization and description. Also you are talking about a video describing how a car transmission works, which isn't exactly difficult to learn

Education was intentionally dumbed down, many books have been written about this, the criminal elites fear a truly informed populace, I have my grandmothers old work books and some of the topics they covered and discussed leaves modern educastion a poor shadow of the standards expected of students in the past.

This is a simple topic. Sure it's a good video, but I'd be curious to see 1st year university physics or mathematics lectures from the 30s-40s and compare. Not sure that anything like that exists, though.
