>>13326057A very similar set of circumstances occured twentyfive or so years ago. Big hype over release of ufo sighting data. Very similar nothingburger reports released. Nobody cared and everything went back to normal.
Basically every few decades government says to the people "Hey, weird shit is going on in the sky. Do you care enough for us to spend money on this?"
To which the people respond "No. Build more nukes for the apocalypse instead."
However in the coming years as we gain and hold a growing list of bastions beyond the orbit of earth this topic will become more prominant. I guarantee that after the first or second tour of scientists travelling to the moon start reporting things interest will inevitably grow.
I happen to know some stuff about what is probably behind these sightings. It's highly unlikely to be of terrestrial origin. Moreover the entity behind the drones actions is not yet malevolent. For the most part their role seems to be observational. For now we are only a threat to ourselves.
Anyway, their attempts to contact our leaders have been fruitless for many generations (if you believe this stuff). I suspect this may change soon though perhaps not.
After all, once your subject is aware of your observations its behaviour changes and the experiment becomes corrupted.
