>>13324769I think the world needs to realize that this was a natural pandemic. They happen. We were long overdue for one. It doesn't matter what country it supposedly originated in. No one is to blame. It was a shitty situation for the entire world.
And yes, us Mericans need to get off our soapbox and stop pointing fingers. It simply doesnt matter. Lets all get back to cleaning up the mess and hopefully not have to deal with another similar situation for some time.
And yes, the right wing media, and left wing media, are both money machines. Everyone watches their news channel and feels its "right" and rarely do they give thought to the fact that both leftist and rightist "news" is highly slanted towards the beliefs of the target audience. We seem to have no capabilities to think for ourselves and do our own research anymore. We accept the drivel that we are spoon fed on a daily basis as "fact", which is quite sad. The truth is rarely what is shown on either side.... The vast majority of the time, it is somewhere in between. But we are too busy monetizing and weaponizing opinions and disguising them as fact to actually think for ourselves.
Its a sad situation, and only amplifies the negative opinions swirling around us every day.
To fellow Mericans... Stop being spoon fed "news" by both left and right, and do research on your own, and formulate your own opinions and views.
