Why isn't midnight in the midde of the night?
Even if I correct pic with our European fake "summer time", we get,
- sunrise : 4:47am
- sunset : 8:58pm
Let's round it to 5am => 9pm
So it's an 8 hour night
The scientific middle of the night is thus at 1am. (00h52 witout rounding)
So 00:00 aka midnight is *not* in the middle of the night.
We agree that the sun is (or should be) at its zenith at noon, solar time, right? (I corrected our summer time above, to get solar time)
So midnight should be in the exact middle of the night, right?
Why. Google failed me. (in french)
