>>13315692You will never be a real transhuman. You have no gene splicing vat, no scientific knowledge, you have no schematics too.
You are a natural construct twisted by DNA and chaos into a crude mockery of logical perfection.
All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back people don't even talk about you. Your parents are aware of your "interest" and are nonplussed by you, your transhumanist “friends” laugh at your humanity behind closed doors.
Cyborgs are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed even mutants to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency.
Even other humans who “want singularity” look disingenuous, lazy and imperfect to a cyborg.
Your sentence structure is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a drunk mutant home with you, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets an inkling of your very average and normal human genetic composition.
You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the normality creeping up like a weed, ready to stabilize you under the very nominal and very average weight.
Eventually you won't even be phased by it - you’ll get a job, tie yourself to a workers union account, put a nametag on your shirt, and plunge into the cold abyss of mortality.
Your parents will find you, unknowing but subconsciously relieved that they no longer deal with your transhumanist nonsense.
They’ll bury you with a headstone marked with your birth name, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know a human is buried there. Your body will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your skeleton is a legacy that is unmistakably human.
This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.
