Someone redpill me on the one electron theory.

Is this legit? How could one electron happen to be in the right place at the right time all the time to keep complex systems together?

"One electron theory" or "one electron field" theory? Because the first one is obviously bunk - we wouldn't need to define a Fock space with mutli-electron sectors if the states living in the single-particle Hilbert space were sufficient. And the second one is obviously trivial - of course there's just one electron field that pervades all of spacetime, and different "particles" that we see are just different excitations of that field at different points in spacetime.

What a load of pointless sensationalist popsci garbage.

I mean hypothetically, if electrons exist purely as a field of probability, with regions of high probability and regions of low probability, then the entire universe can just be a singular field of probability, with perceived "individual" fields simply just being regions of high probability within a universal field, so it doesn't have to escape anything.
