This is a 2004 electoral map right? It's not implausible dumb fucks voted for Bush twice after he started the PATRIOT act, the Iraq war, and proceeded to drive the economy into the ground while starting QE. People literally voted for him because "muh economy" which is just hilarious in hindsight. His father balanced the budget, dubya raised spending and cut taxes and the Americans are still paying the price.
