My B.S. in Biology from a state school is worth just as much as a B.S. in Biology from Penn State. There are maybe a handful colleges on the planet where it matters - Yale, Harvard, MIT, Cambridge, Stanford, Oxford, maybe Princeton. The anon I replied to said "Premed undergrad degrees are worthless unless you have a high enough GPA to get into Pharma/Dentist/Vet/Grad/Med School", not "unless you have a high enough GPA to get into an elite school". There are tens of thousands of doctors in the country, not all of them went to an Ivy League college.
