If you started out with four races:

black white asian hispanic

then defined the following races according to the mix:

black+white mix
black+asian mix
black+hispanic mix
white+asian mix
white+hispanic mix
asian+hispanic mix

you'd have more races after the first generation.

the races of earth are serb, slav, nord, frank, celts, just to name a few races of the Aryan race.
There's Caucasoids, Negroids, and Mongoloids, which are greater races of man, among them are the races of man.
Caucasoid: the Aryan races, the Semitic Races, the Hamitic races.

There is a genetic basis for race, and there are many races.
It's a fairly complex system though, which is why race is said not to exist because hardly anyone has pure DNA of their race any more.
