Bros I’m at a loss, I can’t self-study for shit. It’s like herding cats. When I have an exam, I can cram a months worth of material into a couple days and do well. However, when I’m trying to learn something for fun I don’t get very far. I’m a physics student at a reputable school but I feel I haven’t gotten much out of it. I hear how professors talk, the material is second nature to them. I want to get to that level of mastery. I laid out a plan this summer of the material I’m going to tackle, but when I actually sit down I find myself going down hour long rabbit holes of related material and/or just getting unmotivated and stopping. I end up advancing very little in the actual content. Any tips on how to focus? How to study? I’ve been trying to minimize the hours I spend online
