What determines how much sleep someone needs? How do you learn to sleep longer? I’m 25yo. I can’t sleep more than 6 or 7 hours.

I know less sleep is strongly associated with significantly increased mortality rates and illness by multiple research/sources.

I’m trying to sleep longer to reap the health benefits but my body/mind just seems satisfied and maxed out at 6/7 hours.
