You get evaluated by a psychiatrist who gives you a battery of different sorts of tests. Or you take an online test which mostly tests pattern recognition and shitpost on /sci/ about having a 165 IQ.

Cattell-Horn-Carroll based IQ tests which include broad and narrow intelligences have the most empirical backing.
I'm saying this despite the fact I'm so all over the map in terms of broad and narrow spectrum intelligences to the point there was little correlation to g whatsoever that my psychiatrist refused to give me an IQ score on the ground that it's misleading as it would simultaneously imply less ability and more ability than I actually had. I'm a bit of an edge case and a mental case though.
