>>13306350There doesn't have to be a boundary, it could be that there are different continuities at all size levels, in fact maybe all of physics itself is inconsistent. We just don't really notice these sorts of inconsistencies until we get to the extreme side of things. Also, glitches between two interacting continuities might only appear in everyday life with very very very very low probability but other than that generally work together well enough for these different continuities to seem continuous.
