IQ measures pattern recognition and not ability to use the right tool in the toolbox. 120 iqs tend to be extreme midwits who can memorize facts well but not be innovative due to over reliance on one tool (rational logic, in stem).

It's quite literally higher than average, which in most contexts warrants describing something as "high". Similarly, if something is bigger than average, we tend to say its "big". If it's smaller than average we tend to say its "small". . . etc.

No, very few people who an actually high IQ would waste their time posting it on here. I’d argue maybe 5% of people who post their IQ here have been formally tested and are giving their actual score. I assume most of the 135+ IQ people got this number from an online test or are just completely making it up.

He won a Nobel prize in Physics.

It's safe to assume that all STEM fags who post on /sci/ (myself included) have lower IQ than Feynman.

At least /sci/ IQ is definitely higher than the reddit 100IQ midwit.

So 115 IQ for /sci is a good estimative..

Online self-evaluation IQ tests inflate scores.

I also scored 145+IQ on the worthless meme online tests as most of /sci/ posters.
But online tests results are meaningless.
So my real IQ is probably on 110 to 120 IQ range.
