the only way to be truly anti-eugenics and still have a functioning society is to make the society around mindless consumerism and paddle dysgenic propaganda. I'm saying, people will naturally practice eugenics to uphold the values around which you construct society like that, so might as well skip the "change society" step and directly change genes. still people, including me, can't deny the sense that natural change is better than artificial one, I don't consider society artificial (ideally) more like supranatural
