A friend of mine said that infinites series like the Grandi's series that have multiple answers can explain quantum superposition.
I know that the Grandi's series was used to show that the infinite sum 1+2+3+4+5+... equals -1/12, which in turn is used to explain the Casimir effect.
I wonder if there is some truth in his claim or it's just pseudoscientific BS.

No. Hard no. Grandi's series is an example of an infinite series which requires more advanced summation methods to acquire a non-divergent answer. The -1/12 value requires even stronger summation methods OR analytic continuation. Grandi's series doesn't "prove" anything about the -1/12 answer. Also no, it doesn't explain the casimir force, but it does give us the right answer when we're trying to calculate it for two square sheets. Actually "explaining" the casimir effect would require quantum gravity, at least I think it would.

With the 1/2 thingy in your pic I always imagine making the calculations very fast. So fast that the calculations become waves. Like... you just don't jump from 0 to 1 and then to 0 again, the numbers are oscillating between the points 0 and 1 like a sine wave and when you stop right in the middle the wave is at 1/2.

If it makes sense depends on why you do it and if you can do something with the result. It's more about why you do it that way and not if you're allowed to it or if it makes sense.

You can make sense of anything. Like when I say Balubi - it doesn't make sense but when I define it as "a blue banana" it does make sense.

The real question is what you are going to do with it.

that numberphile computation you're referencing is rubbish. they made themselves look like idiots with that video, it's just blatantly false.

-1/12 and 1+2+3+... are related, but for a different reason than the bozo computation in that video. look up regularization of divergent series.
