Former bio major. You can pretty much cram for every bio test the night before. Just read the power points over and over. And stop posting on /sci/

Yeah you won't remember it at all a week after the test. If you're wanting to keep it long term use anki or something. I read this as you were panicking about failing or something

I had to take a science elective my senior year so settled for intro level bio. Withdrew with a 30% despite constantly studying for that shit. Took thermo the next semester and had highest grade in class. For some reason memorization principles just don't work with my brain.

it's just spaced repetition. a lot of language apps use it but it's really the idea that only so much will go into your long term memory a day and repeated exposure is how you have to do large chunks of information

say you retain 40% of what you learn the first time. you take the rest of that 60% and study it the next day until you slice those chunks with 40% enough times to cover 99% of it
