Why do unis and honors degrees programs here in the United States at least still have prestige to this day deapite being complete bullshit? You would think after all these years of preps getting bashed on and recommendations to stay in community college as long as you can that they'd get their shit together, but instead they still pander to already high performers and boost their ego with exclusive little clubs while meanwhile, people who are smart and could be good employees and possibly good students, but need guidance in this shitty imperfect system suffer negligence.

This despite how grades arent fucking IQ tests nor measures of job performance in the slightest especially with this GPA system that grossly oversimplifies performance.

You'd think enough people would've gotten the hint. But instead, even following the advice laid out by my advisors, I have to jump through hoops and the only reason, the ONLY reason, why this could be the case is because the federal government jacks off to universities.
