I hope you are all doing well. I had a question for any scientists, researchers, biologists or doctors/anyone in the medical field or those who have taken modafinil/provigil for an extended period of time. Did you notice any hair loss or thinning?

I'm considering going on it very soon for some off label treatment and I've seen countless anecdotal evidence from reddit and some online forums that people taking it are experiencing hair loss/thinking while others aren't. I'm curious because no where on official medical research or any official documentation does it state anywhere that it causes these side effects, also the FDA other the last years has had only 89 complaints associated with the medication relating to hair loss. It's not listed as one of the 500 types of things people have mentioned on drug info websites.

Just wanted to know if it's also worth while believing anecdotal evidence when in reality their can be many factors besides the medication causing hair loss. Also would like to hear anyone experience.
