In skeletal muscles for example there are two main proteins that contraction relies upon, myosin and actin. These two move on one another to reduce the size of the cell when the muscle contracts. They are both functional and structural proteins, they help with the structure of the cell and its function. These proteins, in turn, have other proteins that help them with their structure like titin which works like a big spring and nebulin. And to connect some these proteins, there exist other proteins, like troponin and tropomyosin for the connection of myosin-actin.
All these proteins do a bunch of different shit, however they all help in part to structure the muscle cell.
